This mansion in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA is said to belong to Senator Manny Villar, erstwhile Philippine Presidential candidate.
While Filipinos starve and die because of abject poverty, look at how he and his family live. Villar brags that he comes from humble beginnings and that he had helped his countrymen, yet over and over again instances and reports of greed surface.
He is spending billions in his presidential bid. Irked at the prodding on the massive amounts of money he is spending on his sorties and endorsements (about P25-P29 million for Dolphy and P25 million for Sarah Geronimo, for starters) at a recent Q&A, Villar snapped, “What are you complaining about? It’s my money.”
But is it really his money? And do you think he won’t try to recoup his investment if he wins?
